THE SMALL PRINT, PLAINLY

Your privacy matters.

A straightforward explanation of how this static DAEDAL website handles information.

What this website does

This site is a public, static resource catalog. It has no user accounts, newsletter forms, advertising, or analytics. Search and category filtering run in your browser; your search text is not submitted to a search service.

Cookies and browser storage

The website’s code does not set cookies or store personal information in local storage. Hosting infrastructure or an external service may handle requests under its own policies.

Hosting and request data

When you visit a website, its host receives technical request data such as your IP address, user agent, and the requested URL. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles network requests under its own policies. This page does not promise a specific log retention period.

Download files are hosted on GitHub Releases. When you click a download button, your browser requests the file from GitHub, a separate service governed by its own privacy policy. No account is needed and nothing about you is sent to DAEDAL. Sound previews and images are served from this website.

Feedback form

The feedback form sends your message, and the name and email you choose to add, to the DAEDAL inbox by email (through Cloudflare Email Routing). It is used only to read and answer your message; nothing is published, stored on this website or added to a mailing list. The email field is optional — leave it empty if you don’t need a reply.

Optional donations

Donations go through PayPal.Me (paypal.me/lucian2703). The donation happens on PayPal’s website and is governed by PayPal’s privacy policy; this website never sees or stores payment details.

The apps and the DAEDAL application

The free apps and panels work entirely on your computer. They do not upload your media, do not phone home and do not collect usage data. The DAEDAL application, in development, follows the same local-first principle.
