HOW TO USE · FROM THE README INSIDE THE DOWNLOAD
What it does
Lines up clips from several cameras and separate audio recorders (Zoom, lav mics, church/venue recorders) by their SOUND, not by the camera clocks — so it works even when a recorder's clock is years off. Long recordings are corrected for clock drift.
Result: sincronizare.xml → one timeline with each camera on its own track and the external audio aligned underneath.
How to use
1. "+ Folder…" under Cameras: add one folder per camera (Camera A, Camera B, Drone…). Two folders from the same camera shot at different times (e.g. "Card 1", "Card 2") are detected and merged automatically.
2. Under External audio: add the recorder folders or files (optional, but that's where the clean sound is).
3. Choose where to save the results and a project name, press Synchronize.
4. Premiere Pro: File → Import → sincronizare.xml. DaVinci Resolve: File → Import → Timeline → sincronizare.xml.
Your original files are only read, never changed or moved.
First launch
Mac: right-click "DAEDAL Sync" → Open → Open. If macOS still refuses: System Settings → Privacy & Security → "Open Anyway".
Windows: if "Windows protected your PC" appears → More info → Run anyway. Run "DAEDAL Sync.exe" from inside the folder (keep the _internal folder next to it).
NEEDS AT LEAST two devices: a camera + a recorder, or two cameras.
