v1.0.0WHAT IT IS
DAEDAL Sync, inside Premiere.
DAEDAL Sync inside Premiere: pick the camera and recorder folders, get the synced sequence opened in your project.
- Premiere Pro 2024–2026 · needs DAEDAL Sync
- No account, no email — just download.
HOW TO USE · FROM THE README INSIDE THE DOWNLOAD
Syncs your cameras and external audio BY SOUND (not by clocks) and drops the synced
Timeline straight into your Premiere project.
NEEDS the free DAEDAL Sync app (it does the actual syncing). Install it first:
Mac: unzip, move "DAEDAL Sync.app" to Applications, right-click → Open once.
Windows: unzip the "DAEDAL Sync" folder somewhere (e.g. C:\DAEDAL Sync) and run it once.
If the panel can't find it, click "Locate DAEDAL Sync…" and point to the app / the .exe.
How to use
1. Window → Extensions → DAEDAL Sync Bridge.
2. Add camera folders ("+ Camera folder"), or select clips/bins in the Project panel and click "+ From Project panel" (video → one camera per folder, audio files → external audio).
3. Add the recorder folders/files (Zoom, lavs, church recorder…) under External audio.
4. Press "Synchronize & import". Progress shows in the panel; big weddings take a few minutes.
5. The synced sequence opens automatically, inside a "DAEDAL Sync" bin.
Results (XML + CSV report) are saved next to your project in a "DAEDAL Sync" folder, never inside your footage folders. Your originals are only read.
Install the panel
Mac: quit Premiere, unzip, right-click "Instaleaza (Mac).command" → Open → Open.
Windows: quit Premiere, unzip, double-click "Instaleaza (Windows).bat".
Then Premiere → Window → Extensions → DAEDAL Sync Bridge.
